Herzl 160 – In the Footsteps of Theodor
Join a virtual tour through the life and work of the dreamer of modern Israel, Theodor Herzl in the city of his birth, Budapest. With the help of the Herzl Tivadar Education Center, opened in 2013, our tour guide, Kata Nádas will recall many common features of Hungarian and Jewish nationalism (Zionism), the history of Zionism, its Hungarian features, and the main stages of Theodor Herzl’s life.
The program is in English and is realized through the cooperation of JCC Budapest, Junction Europe and the Shapiro Silverberg AJC Central Europe Office.
