Szarvas at 30: A vision
We are pleased to invite you to our next JCC Budapest / Junction / Tarbut partnership online event with Rabbi Michael Paley on Tuesday, June 9th at 11 am EDT / 5 pm CET. Rabbi Paley will be hosting the wonderful Sasha Friedman, Director of the JDC-Lauder International Jewish Youth Camp in Szarvas – or as we simply call it in Hungary: Szarvas. Szarvas is celebrating its 30th anniversary, and has made incredible impact on rebuilding Jewish identity and the renewal of Jewish life across the continent. Due to health and safety concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, in person camp sessions have unfortunately been cancelled this summer. Instead, Szarvas will offer a range of creative online programming and maybe even more!
