Soul Exodus / DVD dedikálás

Öt amerikai klezmerzenész elhatározza, hogy felkutatja kelet-európai gyökereit. Útra kelnek, hogy ráleljenek zenéjük eredetére, és szüleik, nagyszüleik múltján keresztül jobban megismerjék saját magukat és a saját zsidóságukat is. Egyfajta fordított exodusként utaznak nyugatról keletre, New Yorkból Párizsba, majd Berlinbe, Budapestre, Nagyváradra és még tovább.

A film 2016. decemberében került a magyar mozikba, 2017. májusától pedig a polcodra is feltehetsz otthon egy dedikált Soul Exodus DVD-t!

Soul Exodus – Screening and Q&A

Five American klezmer musicians embark on a trip to find their East-European roots. They start their voyage to investigate the origins of their music, and to learn about themselves and their Jewish tradition through the history of their parents and grandparents. As a kind of reversed exodus, they travel from the west to the east, they leave New York to Paris, Berlin, Budapest, Oradea and even further. The Hungarian cinemas are going to screen Soul Exodus only from December 2016, this will be the first public screening of the movie. The film is followed by a Q&A with the director.
