Az Eichmann-per emlékei – Filmvetítés a Holokauszt Nemzetközi Emléknapján
🇭🇺 AZ EICHMANN-PER EMLÉKEI (Memories of the Eichmann Trial, David Perlov, 1979, Izrael, héber nyelven, magyar felirattal)
A Holokauszt Nemzetközi Emléknapján, 2022. január 27-én a holokauszt hatmillió zsidó áldozatáról és a náci rezsim több millió többi áldozatáról emlékezünk meg.
Idén a Varsói Zsidó Filmfesztivál, a Berlin-Brandenburgi Zsidó Filmfesztivál és a Budapesti Zsidó Filmfesztivál a Jewish Moving Pictures nonprofit szervezettel közösen online megemlékezést szervez.
A Yad Vashem – a Holokauszt Mártírjainak és Hőseinek Emlékintézete Vizuális Központjával és a Perlov családdal együttműködésben vetítik le az Eichmann-per emlékei című film restaurált változatát.
A film után beszélgetést közvetítünk a YAD VASHEM Vizuális Központ igazgatójával, Liat Ben Habibal, valamint a rendező lányával, a neves filmszerkesztővel és producerrel, Yael Perlovval.

Az Eichmann-per vízválasztó esemény volt az izraeli identitás alakításában és a világ holokausztra való emlékezetében. Erről 1979-ben készített dokumentumfilmet David Perlov, az izraeli dokumentumfilmek atyja. Az Eichmannt elfogó Moszad-egység parancsnoka, Rafi Eitan, a per tanúi és a szüleik traumájára emlékező izraeli fiatalok – mindnyájan újra felidézik az 1961-es eseményeket. A film bemutatja Henryk Ross fotós szívszorító történetét, aki a lódzi gettóban titokban fényképezte a haláltáborokba induló transzportokat, majd később a per egyik tanúja volt. Ez a film nem Eichmannról szól, hanem azt mutatja be, hogyan alakult át a holokauszt izraeli megítélése a per hatására.

On The International Holocaust Remembrance Day – 27th January 2022, we will honor the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and millions of other victims of the Nazi regime.
This year, the Jewish Film Festivals at Warsaw, Berlin-Brandenburg and Budapest together with the non-profit organization Jewish Moving Pictures collaborate in creating an online commemoration event.
In cooperation with The Visual Center at YAD VASHEM, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, and with the Perlov family, we will screen the restored version of the film: Memories of the Eichmann Trial followed by a discussion with the director of the YAD VASHEM Visual Center, Mrs. Liat Ben Habib and with the director’s daughter, the renowned film editor and producer, Mrs. Yael Perlov.
The Eichmann trial was a watershed event shaping the Israeli identity and the world’s memory of Holocaust. We introduce a unique documentary made in 1979 by David Perlov, the father of Israeli documentary cinema. Rafi Eitan, the commander of the Mossad unit that captured Eichmann, witnesses at the trial, young Israelis remembering their parents’ trauma – all of them once again recall the events from 1961. Especially moving is the story of the photographer Henryk Ross, one of the witnesses in the trial, who secretly photographed transports from the Lodz Ghetto to the death camps. It is not a film about Eichmann but about the ways that the Israeli perceptions of the Holocaust were transformed by this trial.
