Szarvas Camp: The Beginning

During the transition from the Communist period to what Hungary ultimately became, Asher was what was called in those days the JDC country director for Hungary. As part of his job, he needed to identify a site for a summer camp, to get it into shape as a camp, and to oversee the running of the first season of the camp during the summer of 1990.
